Services
In my private practice, I am at your disposal with diagnostic, therapeutic and counseling methods depending on your needs and indications. In the initial consultation, we define suitable methods and clarify your questions.
Integrative Behavioral Therapy
I work with scientifically proven methods of integrative behavioral therapy, which uses connections to psychodynamic, systemic and humanistic approaches in addition to classical and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Many of my methods originate from strategic-behavioral therapy. Central to this is, for example, the focus on emotions and bodily experience as well as dealing with relationships, personal needs and values.
Therapeutic elements
Psychological Counseling
Critical life events and challenging phases are part of life. Experiences such as loss, separation, career changes, but also transitions such as birth or starting a family can put a lot of emotional strain.
In such situations, psychological counselling can help you to overcome acute crises, resolve conflicts or make important decisions. I support you with empathy, professional expertise and a resource-oriented view of your strengths.
Frequently Asked Questions
I work with adults aged 18 and over. Billing is via private health insurance, subsidies or on a self-pay basis.
Please note that I do not offer acute crisis care. If you are currently in a psychotic or suicidal state, please contact the medical on-call service on 116 117 or, in an emergency, call the emergency number 112 directly.
In acute mental health situations, the Bavarian Crisis Service can also be contacted around the clock on 0800 655 3000.
The therapy costs are based on the schedule of fees for psychotherapists (GOP) and the rate of increase is usually 2.3 to 3.5 depending on the symptoms and the amount of treatment required. For self-paying patients, the same rates apply as for privately insured patients.
A psychological consultation is a self-payer service and costs €150 per 60 min.
Cost coverage: Private health insurance companies and benefits offices usually cover the costs of psychotherapy in full or in part. Please clarify this directly with your insurance company in advance.
In the initial consultation, we clarify whether psychotherapy is indicated and which diagnoses are present.
In the subsequent probationary sessions, we check whether a trusting collaboration is possible.
If you would like to pay via private health insurance or a subsidy, an application for cost coverage will then be submitted. Therapy can begin once this has been approved in writing. Extensions are made in stages.
For self-paying patients or for psychological counseling, no application is required.
I work on the basis of integrative behavioral therapy. This means that I combine elements of classical and cognitive behavioral therapy with effective methods from other psychotherapeutic approaches.
We not only look at your conscious behavioral patterns and thought patterns, but also at the deeper levels of your experience - such as feelings, needs, motives, attachment patterns and personal values.
This creates a holistic approach that focuses on both your current challenges and your inner resources.
Also in the context of counseling, I value a focus on solutions and resources in which you as the client are at the center.
In the initial consultation, we clarify your concerns, define a specific goal and agree on a time frame. Psychological counseling is solution-oriented and helps you to overcome stressful situations in a targeted manner.
Together, we develop new perspectives and strategies for dealing with personal, professional or interpersonal challenges. The focus is on activating your resources and developing your ability to act.
One session usually lasts 60 minutes. The number of appointments depends on your individual needs - a few sessions are often sufficient.
The length of a behavioral therapy session depends on your individual needs, the severity of your symptoms and your personal goals. As a rule, behavioral therapy comprises between 24 and 60 sessions.
At the beginning of the treatment, we clarify together how many sessions are likely to be necessary and adapt the duration flexibly to your progress.
A typical therapy session lasts around 50 minutes. Depending on your needs, longer or more intensive sessions can also be arranged.
Psychotherapy requires a clinically relevant diagnosis.
Psychological counseling is useful for personal crises without a mental illness - for example in a crisis of meaning or life crisis, after losses, in the case of an unfulfilled desire to have children, partnership conflicts or career changes.
In the initial consultation, we clarify which form of support makes sense for you.
Statutory health insurance companies generally only cover the costs of psychotherapy if it is carried out by contracted psychotherapists. As I run a private practice, it is unfortunately not possible to bill the statutory health insurance providers directly.
In principle, you can come to me as a self-payer.
In certain cases, it is possible to submit an application for reimbursement. To do this, you must prove that you have been unable to find a therapy place with a therapist approved by the health insurance provider within a reasonable period of time. Whether and to what extent the costs are covered depends on the conditions of your health insurance provider.
Please clarify this directly with your health insurance provider in advance. I will be happy to support you with the application process.
